Fogging

Post by NY Chris »

Can anyone tell me why my storage jars are fogging with condensation above the liquid level.

If I put my 90 proof next to some store bought 90 proof I will get condensation forming on the inside glass above the liquid level. The store bought stuff has no condensation.

Just wondering, maybe I need to air out more, I air out for 24 hrs.
Its a great tasting ( Rads all bran recipe) distilled once in a copper pot still.

Thanks
Chris

I've seen this once or twice too ...collect some on ur finger see what it tastes/smells like....does it burn?

Is is possible that the room temp varies by 10 degrees /day?
....any other jars fogging up like that?
If not, try airing it out for another day .
