Pot still
I am ready to build my first pot still tell me if this will work. 2" column 18" tall with two 2" elbows so it will point straight down with a 12" graham condesor 3/8 coil with 1 1/2 jacket? Will this condensor be big enough? Thanks for any input.

Re: Pot still
If you can coil 3/8" to fit into 1.5"? You will need something bigger. You would be lucky to get it into 2".
And if you have a 18" riser two 90s and a graham. That would put your collection point on the ground. Or near it. Defiantly will ne close to the boiler. Electric would be ok. Gas probably not. Mite be to close to the flames?

Re: Pot still
You need to factor in the boiler size to determine correct condenser. I don't think you need a 18" column for a pot still and if it were me I would use a lye arm with a slight slope to the condenser (use just one elbow) to retain more favor.
Good luck.

Re: Pot still
Could i put section maybe 3 or 4" between the two 90"s and use 2" for the graham and angle the output out ways so it"s further from the boiler? Just asking.
