Good let us know what ya think of it.Junior is a local here and word is he couldn't get his own license to make it cause of his police record. From what Ive heard its not doing very well.Haven't talked to anyone thats liked it that has tried it.I have tried the Georgia moon corn likker thats being sold in abc stores .I didn't think much of it either.

Georgia Moon isn't my favorite. One of those bottles which has been on my shelf 1/3 finished for a long time.

I'm very keen to see how a quality moonshine fares on the market.

yup bought some of that catdaddy stuff to see what it was all about.
best thang bout it was the jug an that aint sayin much.

upstart is more but id try a clear quality brandy on a limited production.
peach or apple if you able. brandy goin for 100 a gal but not sure if you can get it legal like. clear bottle with clear sticker with crestle clear likker.
on corn for a gimick you could give a fact from the ole ways on the label. -one an a half bushels of white corn makes one galon of likker-
somethin like that. im thinkin good flaver an a reason to read is gonna build brand loyalty or have em at least try it a second time an that what you lookin dont mater if it taxed or not
so im tole

A quality moonshine packaged in something similar to mason jars would probably have one heck of a novelty market.

I think the Georgia Moon that UJ is talking about is packaged in a mason jar. I don't much like it either.

Junior doesn't have a police record any more. Reagan pardoned him.

Junior doesn't have a police record any more. Reagan pardoned him.[/quote Just for the one offense. Hes had other convictions so Ive been told and I don't think being pardon from a crime removes it from feds records. Most federal forms ask if ya ever been convected of a crime . He would still have to answer yes to that and that in itself would probably be enough to keep him from getting a permit .How ever I don't know I was repeating gossip some of his kin told me.But next time I bump into any of them and think of it ill ask :)

Interesting. It took me a minute to figure out what video you were talking about. I was sitting there and watching the weather, saying "why did he post a link to the weather forecast?" lol

I probably won't be able to get a bottle of it in my neck of the swamp.

It won't be long before that gets taken down. I thought you weren't supposed to sell alcohol on ebay.

I know he attempts to make a legal statement, but that'll float about as good as a 13 pound bowling ball.

I don't know about other convictions but I do know that if you have a pardon you don't have to note the conviction on job apps or fed paperwork.

got a bottle of that CatDaddy and eggnog without the egg is a Very accurate description. little overpowering. Then i thought... one bottle in several gallons of unspiced PugiRhum might go very well. will do small scale experimentation in the future. And on a side note: it sais on the bottle "grain neutral spirits" dosen't that make it vodka? not "moonshine"? :eh:

My father grew up in the same area as JJ and ran in the same crowds.
My father ran his dads shine like JJ ran for his dad.

According to my father , he did not like the Johnson shine even back then.

But that could also be the stories of an 'old' man. haha
