Day off for fishing
took the morning to go fishing today, hooked up with my personal best rainbow trout. A stellar morning for sure. Got 2 others as well but not so big. This beaut came in at 33". Fish was returned to live another day.

Very nice, we have the most days in a long time for shrimping this year so in May I will be doing a lot of shrimping and fishing for halibut.

Oh what a hog! Nice fish! I am determined to become a serviceable fisherman this year... A purge of the garage revealed 8 rods I can use (how did that happen???). I'm especially eager to catch a good sized trout in the Big Hole by my cabin and a steelhead or salmon somewhere here around the Portland area...will be scouting the Wilson and Columbia for those... Do you give lessons?!? FISH ON!
