Best sources for our hobby

Post by Mashy »

Hey guys, the links below are the best I have found for our hobby. Hope this helps some, I've done a ton of searching to get the cheapest prices and the ones below were what I found.

Once used 5 gal barrels by Balcones out of Texas. They recently won several awards you can check out at ADI. Barrels are only $89.00 with $20 shipping and come with a bung and stand, $109.00 ain't bad. These go out of stock in about 4 to 5 days or so. http://www.homebrewing.com/equipment/whiskey-barrel.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Best fermenter's other than going SS. I have two of these 15 gal fermenter's and they are awesome! The airlock is about 2" in diameter...huge. Lid is air tight and it comes with a cap (what I use)and a spigot for the bottom port. These sell out pretty fast as well. http://morebeer.com/category/speidel-plastic-tanks.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Cheap SS triclamp and other brewing items. This stuff is from China but everything I have gotten from them is solid. http://www.glaciertanks.com/Products-Tr ... ducts.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

This site keeps you posted on all types of brewing deals from large measuring cups, temp controllers to the barrel site I listed above and the label site listed below.

Cheap grain and tons of other brew shop stuff. I buy 22 lbs two row and 23 lbs six row and get free shipping. If you put a 25 or 50 lb bag you get charged shipping. Out of Portland..

Good deals on all types of SS fittings, CIP balls etc. Made in America. Good service like all the rest I've listed here. http://www.brewershardware.com/home.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Awesome place to make custom labels if you're interested in classing up your bottles. I use the wine labels and upload my own images and change all the lettering. Labels are really nice.

Another site for once used barrels. They carry black swan and I think the others are gibbs but not sure. Great service. These folks make some really good booze. I've tried them all (at a conference) and they are all good. Bad part is they sell their whiskey by the pint and charge 5th prices.

The best for last. This place kicks some ass on big box prices, you get free shipping at $50 and they always have coupon codes you can google. Right now there is $15 off a $75 dollar purchase or more savings the more you spend. Very fast service out of CA. The have copper fittings, copper pipe up to 3" and anything else you can think of.

Hope this helps some folks out. I use all these frequently and have always gotten top notch service.
