Hello from Denmark.

Post by HDS »

Hey,. People on this great forum.

Well what can i say,. i tasted some legal(firefly) shine a week ago, and i really liked the taste, of non aged whiskey.,
So i decided to make some of my own., Since i saw the ryebread recipe here in the forum, i have really put effort in to getting a still put together.
Since ryebread is ready available and cheap here in Denmark, might as make some of that ryebread shine.

For me personally this is just a passtime/hobby thing. :)

Welcome aboard.

Don't be in a big rush to build a still. Do plenty of research. So that you build something worth while and useful. And do yourself the favor of not starting a ferment. Until you have done all the needed research. And have the still built cleaned and ready to go.

For the moment I am totally satisfied with my pot still made from presser cocker (Alembic style). To make it I spend $50 totally. Double distillation is “must have”.
Double distillation with pot still and oaking give me the best!
