Anyone remember that Kohler commercial?

Post by Cardinalbags »

A couple enter an architects office with a Kohler faucet and tell the architect to build them a house around it...

This is recycled off an old still build. 2" Triclamp tig welded to a 2" NPT threaded adapter. Will get a 2" NPTF X 2" copper pipe adapter then the sky is the limit.

Thinking of building a pot still out of this. I don't drink whiskey or other flavoured spirits, but I am thinking about giving it a go. Perhaps i just dont like commercial spirits and I can do better myself.

I could just use my vm rig in a pot still mode but where would the fun in that be? I will recycle the liebig however as it would be a lot easier to run that than a worm based on my setup. I've got a ton of copper pipe just itching to get made into something. just need a couple of ells and a 2" to 1/2 reducer setup to complete it.

Well I sprinkled some water on it and it started to grow....

The riser under the pot still head is existing from my boka/vm stripper. i also re-used the liebig. Onlya few extra bucks for the ells and some unions and I'm in business.

Cleaning runs are all done.... will use it as a stripper for my latest birdwatchers run, then I'm hoping to start up a whiskey... I'm also looking at trying the all bran recipe ultimately for neutrals but will also try running some through this for a faux-wheat whiskey.
