I just completed a run and the finished product turned out great but this is my first forray into oak aging and as I have been reading on the forum there is a lot to know, but a few contradictions. Are oak chips ok to use for aging? I know it's supposed to be white oak and toasted then usually charred because it also helps filter it but do you think these chips would work or what is a good oak aging process thats proven to try for someone new to it?
