ebay stills, reporting to big brother.......

Post by distillrook84 »

does ebay have to report who has bought a still? just like those companys who make them. I am assuming they have to.

I tried making a boiler but ended up wasting a lot of money. so I had to resort to ebay.

I suck at screwing 2 pieces of wood together. It took me years to learn to drill that hole before screwing wood together.
30 years of my life I have just completed my first wood "table". Its ugly and crooked as hell, but hey I made it dammit.
One day I will be able to work with metal. until then I need to buy. On the bright side I can cook, fish and hunt like you would not believe!!

Why not just get a keg. They make great boilers.

EBay doesn't actually sell anything. Well except a service. The person you are buying from. Would be the one required to report the sale. If it was requested. That is if they are a legitimate business. Most of the sellers on eBay are not a legitimate business. Or manufacture. They are more of a home builder selling their makings. And many aren't even worth looking at. And the government should shut them down for selling something so bad.

Buyer beware. Is all I can say about eBay.

Lets see a pic of your table :)

US companies report still sales to the govt, so if you must, ship it somewhere other than your home!

they are truely poor, sadly the people buying the them really dont want to do the reading or pay more than what the tat on there advertises for, so they sell

Don't know this for a fact, but my guess would be that if there's a "report" requirement, it'd apply to commercial still head manufacturers who do it for a living. eBay itself, no.

It's easy to get really paranoid over this in the USA. I'd guess based upon what I've read here and elsewhere that 99.999% of those that ever get in trouble either talked, or sold hooch.

Don't talk, don't sell. And above all, never, ever let police into your house unless they have a warrant.
