This complete kit to build a 220-240v controller on ebay looks interesting, but my electronics knowledge is limited.

Does it look OK?

You don't have to select the URL key just copy and paste!

I am no expert on controllers, sounds like it comes with a wiring schematic but I don't see the control box itself?

If you do your own leg work, you can get the same parts for around $60, instead of the $85 +$12shipping ($92)that guy charges. A lot of the stuff from China has shipping included in the price, and if you have Amazon Prime you can get some parts with no shipping cost(although they seem to jack up the price a little to cover shipping these days)

Chinese 40amp SSVR with heatsink: about $13.00 (make sure to get a resistance controlled unit, not a voltage controlled one)
220volt muffin fan: about $15.00, (cheaper to get a 12volt and use a wall wart to power it)
500k ohm linear taper potentiometer: about $5.00
220volt 30amp analog ammeter: about $8.00-$12.00
Muffin Fan Finger Guard Grill: about $4.00
220v on/off rotary switch: about $10.00

Shop around, and you can save yourself some scratch.
