That's cool. I remember my first time fermenting I crushed grapes and let them go on their own I was extremely young and didn't have a clue what I was doin it was the worst thing I had ever drank.

I've made plenty of beer. This was something interesting I thought I'd try. Only cost 6 bux. Tossing in fridge tomorrow to let the yeast drop and clear. Even if it's crap, it was kinda fun.

Just tossed it in the fridge yesterday. Gonna cracked it tonight so I'll let you know. Gonna want a beer and a shot after today. Went and picked up 50lbs of sugar, plus cane sugar for next rum wash, clarified and removed the preservative from a few gallons of blackstrap, ran five gallon wash of hook rum (awesome so far!), and just started a strip run on 10 gallons of ujssm. Even if it's not great beer, it's gonna taste great when I finally sit for the day!

Turned out to be not half bad, especially for 6 bux for 2 liters. More of a golden amber in color, and reminded me of a decent draught beer. No regrets on trying it. Another explanation to flavor is like a bud, but a little more to it, fuller.
