Long term storage

I am going to be a proud grandpa come morning and what I would like to do is take a bottle of rum and store it until my grandchild is if age,made fresh yesterday , here that would be 18 yrs. Is there a way I could store it for this long? Besides a barrel ,What would be the best ABV to store at if it Is possible,

So call me crazy but what about a bottle with a label with a born date and a name and an expiration date (name obviously child and whisky). A baby pic would be super nice also on label. Oh yea congrats!!!!!!!!
