Molasses Question

Post by Wiz of Oz »

Awesome site and am loving at how much I have learned so far. Getting closer to starting my first rum wash and I have sourced some molasses from a feed store and I sent an e-mail to them to make sure it was unsulphured. Their response was "Our molasses is 100% cane molasses with no sulpur. This molassses is sold for animal consumption only. The product is not sourced or handled for human consumption."

Does this mean I cant use it? Thanks in advance for your help

It means you use it at your own risk. It'll be fine.
