That's what I was thinking. Should I put them in the jar with sugar also after I pull em from the jar?

Sounds good to me. My ol lady said they would turn brown if not covered with a liquid. We will find out. I've been tryin to get on the parent site to find out what my proof will be when I blend the 90-110 together. When I go to the site all it says I. The page is "it works"

Just a tip, I have always put a little lemon juice or citric acid...not enough to change flavor...but it helps the fruits keep the color.

Never used lime juice, but I don't see why it wouldn't work unless somebody else has a suggestion. It's mainly the citric acid that keeps the fruits color, which limes have. I believe lemon is more acidic, could be wrong, but if so you might need a bit more lime which may change flavor. Like I said, never tried lime so somebody else might know.

Ok the fruit changing color is just a visual right? I mean no bad taste will carry over?

Just visual. I did cherries and they just looked a horrid dull brown. I used citric for the ones I gave away and they kept their color. Same with strawberry and raspberry. All tasted the same.

For a real good drink of something different just add a 1/8 wedge of lime to a pint of white and wait. Yummy if you like lime.
