Carefull using pure oxygen, it is a dangerous gas in its pure form.
I am not saying that you are not using it safely, but I would rather give warning where none was needed rather than no warning and see someone hurt.

I will. Don't use O2.InglisHill wrote:I am not saying that you are not using it safely...
A strong oxidizer and a volatile fuel at room temps. One static spark and BOOM.

I used liquid oxygen when in the service. If pure o2 comes in contact with anything flammable there is a very good chance of it going BOOM. Have patience and let time do its thing.T-Pee wrote:I will. Don't use O2.InglisHill wrote:I am not saying that you are not using it safely...

Any of my dive gear that is set up for pure O2 use has to be serviced using proper non-petroleum lubricants and any parts have to be O2 compatible as well. Doesn't take much for oxygen to go boom. If you're worried about purity, there are other options and inert gass available.

Kekedog I use that setup to oxygenate beer wort. And yes I have tried the same in some likker. Not sure it really did much. Then again I don't have the most sensitive palate in the world.
