Re: solenoid valve
Kind of.. But a switch would work better.

Re: solenoid valve
Magnet switch would be an option.
A solenoid valve will only "trigger" at a certain current it is designed for.
If you would regulate that current down in any way, it might not be enough to feed the spool and "trigger" the valve.
It's a "On/Off thing".

Re: solenoid valve
To get an accurate flow from solenoid controlled valve isn't as simple as it seems.
You can use on-off and vary the time, or have a valve that supplies feed back to a controller.
But a valve that can flow X amount of liquid when the voltage changes isn't cheap or easy.

Thanks fellas, makes sense!. I was going to do an.automated controller like od and Swede do, but I've gone away from.that idea as I want to keep it some what hands on. So, I'm wanting to know if its possible to control solenoid valves with a switch from the control panel, cheapish and easy if possible?.

Thanks pf, that's pretty cool!, was looking at something similar earlier but didn't have as many functions!. It is a bit pricey but not to bad.

Re: solenoid valve
I just looked at it again and it says the working pressure is .5-1.75 MPA (72.5 - 254 psi) so you gotta have some pretty high water pressure at your place to use this.
