Hi everyone - I am a newbie to the forum, and also a newbie to the dark art of distillation. I've been making wines and beers for many years, and decided to try distillation after seeing the Turbo Yeast products - we come from the UK and there isn't much 'home' distillation there, it's mainly brewing. We bought an AirStill and have run a TurboYeast rum wash through it, and I made a spiced rum essence to add to it, and that worked very well I also ran some of my hard cider through it, and that had created a very nice apple-y flavoured drink - I labelled it apple vodka, though I guess that it not technically accurate....
I am interested to find out more about what we can achieve with our little still, and would love to hear other people's experiences, and any suggestions for how to get the most out of it.
