peat source?

Hi HD! im a huge fan of scotch and have made a few great AG whiskeys, mainly thanks to all the knowledge I've aquired from the HD forums. Anyhoo i have searched high and low for a good source of peat moss so that I can try to replicate some of my favorite scotches, but have come up empty handed. Can anyone out there recommend a good place of type of peat moss to use in smoking my barley to get that authentic scotch taste??

It's all I've found. They're apparently the only importer of Scottish peat. I've used it and it worked well. I don't know about the stuff for gardening, only used what I linked above.

never heard of peat moss. but they burn peat here to heat the homes on the islands instead of coal. it has an amazing smell.

But I've literally got tons of peat in my back yard....problem is.....
