Out of gas

I was able to complete a stripping run on my recent wash, but my gas tank ran dry during the spirit run about halfway through collection of hearts.
I won't be able to get more gas until tomorrow night.

Should I just pick up the run where it left off, or would it be a better idea to toss the heads/hearts back in and start from scratch?

You can basically start from where you left off, except you should do another fores cut as it is heating up.

Its a good thing you weren't fixing supper, or SOH would have been pissed and sent you to bed without you supper.

Always...I mean always...keep a spare bottle on hand. You're lucky it was your liquor that got delayed. Can you imagine if you were grilling for guests? Ouch!

I'd pick up were I left off. And start figuring out how to convert to electric.

i'd keep what hearts i got, finish the run into the feints jar (add the heads),,,, make another ferment and convert to electric while it worked off. when i had a full charge fermented , i'd add the feints to it for a 1.5x distillation on my shiney new electric rig.
