Hello
I don’t know if this topic exists I tried to find it with no success.
I have an copper distiller and today I found 2 small pinholes one on the bottom and one on the side.
What would be the best way to fix this?
Thanks for all your help

I'd be more worried that more thin spots will show up at the worst of time, like during sprit run.
It maybe time to replace it, #1 safety,

If it's not on a joint then get a new still. Otherwise cut out the old joints and do them up right.

All good tips here Beno.
Are the holes along a seam? That might be due to poor construction. But if they're in the field of the material, it's likely corrosion where pitting has reduced the material.
If it's the former, you may be able to repair it. You could try to solder over the holes, as suggested. Or even construct a doubler plate and patch the holes.
If its the latter, it could be an indication of things to come...meaning time to replace the boiler.
For sure, you don't want to spray hot alcohol onto an open flame. Stay safe, my friend.
