In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. But in practice there is.

Re: Irish Cream Recipe
That is very close to my baileys recipe. I only make it in the winter when making Duck Farts.

Re: Irish Cream Recipe
Of course the commercial booze is exchanged for what I make:
PS: It was invented by a bartender in Alaska that was from Oregon so speculation is he was an Oregon Duck fan.
Duck Fart recipe
1/2 oz Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
Layer ingredients in order as listed above.
28% (56 proof)
Duck Fart #2 recipe
1/2 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1/2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
1/2 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
Layer ingredients in order as listed above.
Personally I like it with the homemade amaretto, I also put it in small shot glasses and put them in the freezer. Of course they don't freeze but the get a frosty layer (great drink after a long day snow shoeing).

Re: Irish Cream Recipe
That's the same recipe I've been using for years. Very good.
