I agree. Too pricy for what they are. Clever idea for DIY cooperage though.

It seems as though this thing, I have no idea what to call it, holds approximately 4 oz of fluid, and it's $50, seriously.

Suppose it's on the steep side, I never woulda thought of it though. Charred 1 liter barrels are less...an I know for a fact they work.
