Root beer ?

I got my own theory's but wanted to seee or here some of yalls thoughts on going about making a good clear drink but taste like rootbeer . Any ideas ? Thanks , Smokey

I would take clean 2x ran hearts and run them a third time though the thumper charged with rootbeer concentrate.
welcome aboard some of us are ornery old coots but if you do a lot of
reading and don't ask stupid questions you'll be alright most are

One thing...a lot of the "root beer" flavor comes from the sugar added to the soda. A clean distilled product won't have that amout of sweetness. Sure, there may be a touch of sweetness, but not quite like the paradigm. You may need to add some simple syrup back to your clear triple distilled product to attain your desired taste. Of course, the essence flavorings may have some of that sweetness added in with it. They will also have coloring added too, so it won't be clear.

I have not yet made a root beer liquor, however I do have the sassafras root and other herbs with which to macerate to build a root beer flavored spirit. I hope to try it soon, but I've got to ferment some more of the all bran to make the clean neutral. I plan to make it like I do a gin...macerate and triple distill.

Nothing to add, but this sounds like a Jerimiah Weed clone 8n the making. Definitely interested.
