List of repurposed stainless

Has anyone seen a list for repurposed stainless that can be reused as pots? For example, are old propane tanks stainless? Are old smokers stainless? Are those old gas tanks that farmers used to use stainless? Or are these just examples of regular steel not appropriate for use?

You can find SS Propane tanks around saltwater marine surplus, but rare and more expensive than a keg.

Look for food industry components, milk/dairy tanks, drums and barrels syrups were shipped in, water purification tanks,...

I see a lot of process manufacturing tanks I would like to have, but never know what has been stored in them.

Would a stainless steel vehicle lpg tank have any issues? I do not know if the liquid in them would leave anything residual. Great size and shape for horizontal boiler or even storage.

you can't use any vessel for storage if has had any contaminates like that in it before hand. new or food grade with food grade products only.
