Here's a question.
I have done over 10 runs of straight corn and barley mash now.
Product came out amazing. Better every time. Good conversion, fermentation and great tasting final product at an average of 56% after cuts.
Still is stainless steel and copper.
Condenser is a copper coil.
I heat low and slow using propane and about 3-4 drops per second flow rate.
I have noticed now that I have stored a considerable amount of my whisky that there are a few white/fluffy clouds in the jars!
They were crystal clear without even a fleck of grain when I dripped it out of the still and made cuts and blends.
Is this common? Last run was done about a month ago. I had them stored away and just noticed this yesterday. Each quart jar has a few of them. They just stay suspended above the bottom of the jar. Whisky still tastes pure and clean (actually I can swear it mellowed out even more after a month sitting in the jars.
So what gives? Anyone have any experience for what is going with my booze!?

At the end of the game, the King and the Pawn go back into the same box.
