I am thinking I might go the route of etching stainless with an acid/salt solution and electricity.... Will have to do a few tests but that pipe is hard.. I think it 316 ss... touch stuff.. can't even drill it.. Might do the quick solution for now and just make a ruler to zip tie in place... or some tape ..but I was thinking etched stainless look nice... was also thinking could etch the inside of the pot every gallon when doing mashes without the sight glass.. if its gets to be a problem. For the most part will be a boil kettle. Really want to get innis and gun clone going....

Badmotivator etched the inside of his boiler with electric etching. Did a fantastic job of it. Might want to pm him about it.

I just happened to notice my name mentioned. The keg boiler and cabinet built story in my signature has some information about it, but I can add any information you might need. I'd be glad to help.

Thanks that was what gave me the idea actually :) For now going the lazy method.... and going to get other projects done.. like hydro to the basement. Picked up 50ft of 10-3 to run.. but need other items and not sure what breaker I need yet. The run will not be a full 50 ft but did not want to need a wire stretcher ;) Might use the welder plug and only hookup 2 hots and ground. 30 amp 250v trist locks are over $50 each at the local hardware store OMG and I would need 3 or 4 so cheaper method I might go...
