Enzyme sources

Post by jb-texshine »

I've been thinking about putting on my big boy pants and going all grain(using enzymes). What's a sight and members approved source.

Does anyone have a Canadian supplier they recommend to prevent the issues with the border?

I got mine from http://hamiltonhops.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow but soon after my credit card was compromised and used for ferry rides etc in BC. Coincidence? Not sure... but having second thoughts about ordering from there again as a result

That's where I ordered from. Super quick, good packaging and shipping, I got them three days from order placement. Should be running my first round tomorrow!

Beer tastes super yummy. You won't go wrong JB.

Enzymes + grain is cheaper than sugar
Get ready for lightning fast ferments with a VERY thick cap

Shipping between canada and the us adds 10x the shipping cost on average.

If your going to order though Hamilton hops use a prepaid credit card or PayPal if they accept it.

There are PDFs on the website. Download each one and read. I learned a lot by doing so. Cheers!

I used hamiltonhops and had no problem. But I have a pre-paid credit card I use for ALL online transactions just to be safe. Never know when anything, your own computer or the retailers, could be compromised.

Thanks for the info. Good advise on the pre-paid card. I don't like online shopping, but that seems to be the way to go.

The guys at hamiltonhops are a very small local business. My experience is they work hard at what they do in a tough business. Never had a problem FWIW and they've never tried to push Turbo on me. Shopkeeper knows what I do from what I've bought from him. Doesn't make a deal out of it and shows me different products I might be interested all with a silent nod and a smile.
Different story when you can walk into the shop though. Always use prepaid if you can't pay cash.
