Hi all,
I am new to all this. I am running a t500 still.Have followed hbs to the letter but have been told( I have been using yeast then carbon followed by turbo clear) that I dont need to use carbon. Is that so ???? What is the traditional way to make wash ??? Cheers Jason

you do indeed not need carbon.
Have a look in tried and true section for good washes that have served other folks here well

You don't need the carbon.
And, you don't need the turbo clear. And you don't need the turbo yeast neither.
You have walked into the right room for learnin'. Pick out a recipe and protocol from the Tried and True section, follow that to the letter, and you will be way ahead of the game.
