I have tried black peppercorns and that was good but HOT. I did a jalapeno batch but I used too much pepper or left it too long. Too much pepper flavor. Do any of you have a recipe for using chili peppers and cucumbers.
I'm thinking about peeling an seeding the cukes and making juice to add a little at a time. Then put a little pepper in at a time and let it rest a while tasting every day or so. I just thought about the juice idea so if I don't do that I guess I'll peel and seed the cuke and slice it to put in. Maybe 1/2 a cuke to a qt. and a couple slices of pepper to start with. I'm trying to get something close to absolut Texas.
