I'd add a union for the liebig to column, for adjustment/disassemble purposes.

You could also reduce the Liebig water jacket diameter from 1" ID to 3/4" ID. It would save you cost in fittings and pipe.

Instead of the 1"x1/2"x1/2" tee, you'd use 3/4"x1/2"x1/2" (qty 2) and instead of the 24" length of 1" ID pipe, you'd use 36" of 3/4" ID pipe.

The 1" jacket is bigger than it needs to be, making it heavier (more water) and more expensive. I would, however, make the water jacket 36" long instead of only 24". It'll give you better temperature gradient throughout.

Oh, and be sure to wrap a spiral of 12 gage wire around the vapor tube before inserting it into the water jacket. The spiral increases the conduction surface area and improves the water flow turbulance. That'll increase your Liebig's efficiency.

Using a tri-clamp where your Liebig meets column gives you easy connection, adjustability, and no tools.

What those guys said. Plus, if soldering those stainless tri-clovers to copper I would suggest
using Harris #8 solder and Stay Brite flux or something as good.
Keeping your connections modular will give you future flexibility in addition to allowing for
adjustments in all directions to raise or lower your liebig to the height you need for collection
of your distillate.

Floppy, if you're going to use the copper ferrule pictured above use Type M tubing for your column so the ferrule slides right in otherwise you're in for a lot of hammer work to get the ferrule inside.

An alternative would be using a brass ferrule that fits on the outside that will fit all types of your 2 inch tubing.

Blah, blah, blah,........

What most folks don't understand is the shorter 1" jacket will virtually weigh the same as the longer 3/4" jacket version, maybe with more flow and less leverage stress.
Basically, the same amount of matter weight, the 3/4" over 1/2" version may weigh even more ...Opinions are like personalities, everyone has their own, and liebig preference also.
Mine is 1" over 1/2"@ 29" long with never any issues.
Plenty folks here are happy with their 3/4 over also.
