Looking for ideas.

Post by Hillbilly Popstar »

Hope this is in the right place.

Throwing a bonfire birthday party this weekend where libation is encouraged.

I will have about a gallon of 160 proof white to play with.
The idea is to dump the gallon into a 6 gallon igloo cooler and make a jungle juice type mix that everyone can enjoy.

Has anyone done anything similar?
What are some simple quick (emphasis on thw quick) recipes that are shine friendly I could try?

You rink he has some recipes that are white dog friendly?

I wouldn't expect shone to taste as good in a mix intended for rum.

Could be wrong...

I have between tomorrow and Saturday?
Think the hard candies will disolve that fast?

Most everybody likes Apple Pie. There are plenty of recipes for that on here.....or even on the net, for that matter. And they work with shine too.

Already got a half gallon of my apple pie.
All the good recipes (IMO) require a few days.

1 qt shine,4 level tbsp sugar,6 cinnamon sticks, an even dozen seeds from a fresh jalepeno.
Split all ingredients between two qt jars and microwave to 150°f then refridgerate with lid on until cold, repeat, drink.
Like fireball but better

I love everyone of those ideas. But most of my friends aren't accustomed to sipping full strength hooch and liqueurs.

Need a mixed drink closer to 10-15% alcohol.

10-15%?
Winecoolers and beer for them! Save the shine for you. Youll appreciate it more.

Mix candy infused hooch to to 30-35 % and serve over ice, my family likes the rootbeer with seltzer water, I like it on ice cream. Half rootbeer half seltzer brings it to around 15%+
or Just use as a mixer
Gingerale is good with the jolly rancher green apple half green apple and half gingerale brings it to 15-18 %, other than that I agree with jb-tex
