Hello from the great state of Texas.
Hello. I'm a self employed craftsman in north Texas. I find it enjoyable to "do it yourself" and have been wanting to start this journey of distilling for a very long time. I have brewed some beer from extracts and loved it. I don't know what else to put but ask away and I'll do my best.

Jb, I have to be honest and tell you that I’m not a native Texan but am doing my best to earn the title.jb-texshine wrote:Always good to see another member from Texas. Welcome in. What kind of liquor do you want to make?
As far as what I want to make goes, what don’t I want to make. I want to learn and experience all I can. Special interest in 100% corn and all grain with a curiosity in fruit brandy.

That's OK,I don't hold the non native status against you. You got here as fast as you could...sawgunsmith wrote:Jb, I have to be honest and tell you that I’m not a native Texan but am doing my best to earn the title.jb-texshine wrote:Always good to see another member from Texas. For the 100% corn check out the booners casual corn recipe in tried and true. Fruits can be as simple as fruit juice or as complicated as picking and juicing your own fruits. I do a batch of wild persimmon brandy every year that is very tasty.
