has anyone ever flavored shine with apple blossoms or pear.
they smell great in the spring and i was wondering if the smell would carry over into shine
also,clover has a great sweet taste to the petals
has this been tried.
i am really interested in infusing.

Alcohol is very good at carrying some flavours - 3 or 4 leaves of meadowsweet, will flavour a litre in a few days. A few halves of dried apricot - the same. Honey, I've never been able to make it carry at all.
In infusion, it's much a case of "suck it and see" - do let us know what works for you

I just made a Chamomile spirit that is delicious. I used dried Chamomile and soaked it in 60% hearts for 30 minutes. After straining I used the same chamomile for a "second soak" on more of the 60% hearts. Both were delicious, but everyone who has tried both like the second soaking batch.

Ive had cherry blossom sake, probably one of the best tasting drinks ive ever had. Now you got me thinking.....
