I have a 10 gallon barrel that needs to be emptied.
Due to various things in my life, I won't be able to add any more spirits to the barrel for about 4 months, probably won't be able to completely fill it for 6 months.
What's the best way to store it? I was thinking of adding a 1.75 liter of store bought whiskey just to keep things wet inside.
Is that a good idea? What about putting the whole barrel in a garbage bag?
Thanks
