do you think it would be possible to make a highly concentrated gin essence that can flavor a neutral like gin by adding a small amt to a larger amt, say 5ml to a L...or 50ml to a L...
i have a machine used to make medicinal/herbal butter, oil, and tincture. i was wondering if i could use it and its ethanol infusing abilities to make a gin essence. and maybe other ones. open to ideas for sure.
What herbs do you gin lovers use in yours? juniper and anise are two common ones right

Re: Gin Essence
I thin its would be possible.
Most likely need essential oil extraction to get very concentrated for such small amounts.
I think start making essential oils
Juniper
Coriander seed
Orange/Tangerine
Look up Odins easy gin.. Then build on it.
The trick will be getting the correct amounts.
You can add other items also.. just start simple and build from there.
In some cased you might need to dilute a drop of an essential oil in some 96% neutral to get small enough amounts and say use a drop of the diluted part.
You could start with say 10x Odins easy gin in 1l of 45% then distill and get about 400ml of 70 or so percent. Thing might scale a little lighter.. that would give you about 40-50ml per the essence and 700-710ml 43% neutral for a 750ml of gin
