Nice place ya got here

Greenhorn here. Been building a "Pot" style keg still with guidance from this site. Lots of good information. I have started making wine from home grown grapes and would eventually like to make a column still so I can recycle the reject batches into a neutral spirit.

My immediate goals are corn whiskey and a scotch style whisky.

Hopefully I'll be doing a cleaning run this weekend on the new still. Thanks for all the help!

Welcome here, in the mean time ya pot will turn that crap wine into some pretty good brandy .

Welcome Thumper ...jeez, how'd you get Thumper , shit I would have thought we'd be up to Thumper 57 or something by now :o

Anyhow , glad you're on board and having fun . A potty might not be the right sill for a neutral , a reflux would be better but a Potty is always great for stripping prior to a reflux run and makes some mighty good Scotch and Whiskey , and Rum so I'm told . :ebiggrin:

Welcome, also check into using the.pomace left from the grapes for some grappa!
