Ive been around for a couple years and like to build stuff.
I built an EHERMS system for my brewing rig, and decided to take it a step further:
Removed the analog thermometers and replaced with digital ones, designed a PCB and wrote code to handle both brewing and distilling. There is a slider on the right that changes the power percentage, like a really slow PID.
I'm wanting to build a EHERMS setup this spring controlled by a Raspberry PI with touchscreen. I've never wrote any code but plan on getting a Python for Dummies book to (hopefully) learn enough to execute my plans. Hopefully incorporate a WIFI connection to initiate a preheat sequence before I get home since my hometime is limited.
Would you mind posting pics of your setup, MT, HLT and boil kettle? I guess it could be called RIMS/HERMS porn, lol
