Howdy again.
So I am looking at water pumps, for my reflux condensor (It's a lengthened old model T500).
I note some people are using dirty water pumps around 300W. Some are using 1800L/hr cheap pumps.
I am looking at a 2400 litre an hour pump, submersible, from ebay.
Are there any calculations I could/should do....or ways to determine if this 2400L/hr would be suitable?
Sorry, but I have no experience with water pumps and wattage means little in this context.
Thanks

Re: Water Pumps
300w submersible pumps are fine . I’ve used mine for around 5-6 years and still going strong . Even though I throttle it right back .
Just watch when you are looking at pumps what head of water they will pump . Some claim to pump a huge volume but can only lift it 3’ beyond that the flow almost stops .
