Hello from Western Washington State!
Been reading these forums like a madman over the last four months, literally for hours at a time doing my spirit runs, finally figured I join the place and join the fantastic discussions, what a tremendous source of information!
I'm on the quest to make the perfect neutral, so I can then make the the perfect gin (which is my real goal) - working with a CM I purchased and shelved a few years ago (kids/life) and am just now finding that it doesn't quite get me to where I want to go (can get 93-95 on a very good day, for a short period of time).
At any rate, glad to be here and excited to continue the quest!

Welcome from someone from the wet side of Wa
I'd like to see a picture of your still. CM designs vary tremendously and maybe we can help you reach your goal. Mine does 95% pretty much start to finish. Of course that really isn't a subject for a welcome thread.

Wet indeed! Just a few more weeks and we won't see the blue sky for another 8 months! I'd be happy to show pics, just need to strip the geotag off and I'm not entirely sure where in the forum I should post the... suggestions?cranky wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 5:41 am Welcome from someone from the wet side of Wa

I've been frantically trying to get a crap load of work done before the wet season sets in again and as usual I doubt I will make it.UncleBuhlahkay wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:03 pmWet indeed! Probably novice distillers, or column builds.UncleBuhlahkay wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:03 pm I'd be happy to show pics, just need to strip the geotag off and I'm not entirely sure where in the forum I should post the... suggestions?
