Too obvious, imo. It's legal in NZ or my country, but how about the rest folks here?
Looks like "Hey, I deal with drugs. Won't you arrest me today?" for Russia
No shit! Ill still buy one but it might not get wore to often. Like I said in one of the other threads, I end up in a conversation about "moonshine" aleast once a week & its not my doing. So I dont need anything saying "Look at this fella, he does something illegal".
Just skimmed over the thread again and from what I can see, a shirt that says "I make moonshine" would sell good. There is also some of us that would rather have a "S3" or monkey shirt. I say do both. Do a run of so many shirts to pay for part of the next run & put some toward the site. Then move to coffee mugs (which I also buy) and/or what ever else.
Removed the don't tell don't sell and made the font look more "Mason Jar-ish". And for me this is site all about doing it for yourself and encouraging others to try it for themselves too - while offering a place to ask the right questions.

Years ago I was the manager of an amateur sports team. We went went through a similar dilemma. I made the mistake of asking the entire club about logo design. Every one of them had a different idea about it. Similar to the scenario here. Giving everyone an opinion means lots of opinions and nothing gets done, or half are disappointed with the end product. Find out how many people want a t-shirt and give them a couple of choices in design. Vote on it. Make the shirts.
Boom done!
Reminds me of the saying...."A camel is a horse designed by a committee"......
Is there a global shirt selling site? It would be costly for me to order one from the US or Aus for example.
Or is there an option to buy a high res image off the site? That way you can let any local printer make a shirt/hoodie/mug/whatever while still kicking some cash to the site
How about folks just use whatever images they want and order from t-shirts-r-us.com or their preferred vendor. Pool some orders if convenient and throw a donation to HD.
If anyone has the ability share the HD still logo that would be sweet!
Does anyone have experience with teespring? Looks like they can make shirts, hoodies and mugs. Plus it seems they deliver worldwide.
I could set up a shop and donate the profits to hd, but I think it's preferable for Uncle Jesse or Tater to do so, in name of the site. That way profits could go directly to the site.

We could vote on designs here.
That's an amazing idea.
There are three types of people in this world - those who can do maths and those who cannot.
Put the site logo on the shirts and call it a day. If you are worried about a still on your clothing, maybe you have the wrong hobby. I'm pretty sure the feds aren't gonna follow you home to check. I thought marijuana users were paranoid, but I see cannabis leafs all over clothing these days. Geez.

I have investigated, off and on through the holidays, and it's not quite as simple as it seems.
BUT, looking at what COULD be the best alternative, just takes time and a little $ to set up.
It would allow a variety of choices - designs, products, color combinations, sizes, AND international delivery.

So I enlisted the help of a friend.
Here's some work in progress

First one for sure.
I am sure Uncle Jessie will love it and even though Ive not made a UJSSM yet, I would totally recognise it anywhere. Either that or a 'TPW' or 'Birdwatcher' with a HD attached somewhere.
fwiw, this is a mockup using a blue pocket teeshirt.
First thing - using "clipart" I have NO idea how clear the imprint will be.
Also, with it being full color on the back, I THINK cost for this would be around $35, plus shipping.
Keep in mind, you would be able to pick your size and shirt color.
Would also make it available with or without the homedistiller.org text.
your choice. EDIT: With change to the front. This is a green pocket tee
Green withOUT website

+1 for DSmith's design. The site logo is instantly recognizable IF you know what you're looking at. And I would love to know how many times "just run it" has been posted on here. Perfect IMO.

I had some unexpected free time in the office this week and was also able to look into shirts, coffee mugs, etc. What you are describing is just about on par with what I was looking at. I would really love to find a local shop to do it but with having to square each thing away with them, probably a deposit or front all of the money (Im not super keen on pre-orders) and a day worth of packing, rechecking payment with shipment info....... see why I found something online? I still want to dig a bit deeper into it before I started just to read the fine print. If you want to press on with your.... venture/idea (would those even be the right words?) go for it or a bit of team work. It doesnt bother me either way, Im just ready for a new shirt, coffee mug and to throw some money toward the site.
