“Quote” not working after Iphone update ????

Has anyone else noticed that the “quote” does not work correctly after the last update .

So what I mean is when I select a part of a post and then hit the quote icon on the right of the post , the whole post ends up in the box rather than just the selected text .

It works just fine on my PC . But started a few weeks ago on the Fruit phone after an update .

Has anyone else had this and have a solution ?

I am writing this answer on my Mac and safari - I experiencing the exact same issue. Just now I have selecting part of the original text in your message and press quote - and ended up with whole text in the quote. So it looks not just iPhone has this issue.

Happens on Windows as well - not an iphone issue - i selected "So it looks not just iPhone has this issue." but as you can see, the whole thing came across

So perhaps I was jumping to wrong conclusions that its an Apple thing .

Eric , what windows thingy are you using ? My PC has Windows 8.1 in it .

press quote - and ended up with whole text in the quote.

Works fine here on phone ,Samsung tablet or laptop.
d_styler you need to use the "Post Reply" box to quote a section of text, you cant do it in "Quick Reply"....I dont know if you know that.

I have always copied and used the quote key at the top column where the bold and italic buttons are located to quote only part of the comments.

When I grab the quote key within the persons text it gives me the whole post. This is on my iPad.

As SBB says, it doesn't work in Quick Reply. It just suggests that you are using the forum a little differently on your iPhone than you're used to.

I’m using Full Editor & Preview option Salty . I know quick reply doesn’t work for it .

It’s a recent issue . Maybe Uncle needs to look into it
