I had been using a batch of DADY, it always took 2-3 weeks to finish. I tried a lot of different things to help speed it up, temp, PH, etc.
I was working my way through a pound of this stuff when it got thrown out by accident.
I used some baker's yeast (bread yeast?) for the last batch.
It finished in 5 days using the exact same methods I have used for the Dady's...
I have seen other people mention this about the DADYS, so is it always just slow or was there a weird slow bad batch or something? Maybe it was just expired and still sold?

Re: DADY yeast slow?
Could be a weird batch.
I’ve always had great luck with it. Usually 4-5 day ferments. One time I left one too many blankets on the fermenter and it got into the high 90’s, that batch went dry in 2 days! Smaller hearts cut though.
It definitely needs to work in the mid-80’s temp range, if not, it’s very slow.
