Next gen cup cars
I find watching the NASCAR next-generation cup cars really boring this year anyone else?

Agreed, tried watching a few races, just not the same. Don’t like the cars look. Proportions are wrong. A lot like the cot years.

Everything about Nascar anymore sucks. The cars, the race format, everything. The attendance in the stands is telling.

C’mon now Brother, it’s still fast cars. That’s one thing they can’t take out of it. I’d venture to say that most American sports have gotten the piss taken right out of them but racin’ is racin’.

I think they need to change the name. There ain't nothing stock about them cars. Hasn't been in decades. Even the wheels used now are from indy racing.Stonecutter wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 6:37 pm C’mon now Brother, it’s still fast cars. That’s one thing they can’t take out of it. It's more akin to IROC than NASCAR of old. Call it what it is, but it ain't stock car racing.

Definitely can’t argue with you there. I’m more into sports car racing anyway. FIA Endurance and such.Deplorable wrote: ↑Sat Apr 30, 2022 7:52 amI think they need to change the name. Re: Next gen cup cars
NASCAR has deviated so much over the past 25 yrs, that I stop following it over the past few yrs..
Agree with Deplorable, the new gen car isn't ever close to the car on the street, nor the engines..
And that is also what is happen with Indy and F1, with all the new rules and regulations..
Let racing be racing like it was some 40 yrs back.. be the sharppes and best be the winners..
Man I enjoyed my self back in the last 60"s early 70's racing then being snowmobiles and some dirt track.. those were the good old days for me..
