Hey everyone! My obligatory first post to welcome center.
I dabbled in the world of distilling about 15 years ago and never had good results, gave it up. Last year I had a great peach crop and made 15 gallons of delicious peach wine. And I couldn’t bring my self to clean that many bottles, so I got an eBay special column and topped it on a keg I usually use for fermentation. Out came a gallon and a half of delicious peach moonshine! Now I’ve got a 65l Digiboil with still lid setup so I’m not out in the yard getting weird looks from the neighbors. Currently perfecting a whiskey recipe, and using the spent grains to make second batches of spent grain and sugar shine. I’m also chasing the perfect bottle of rum. Been lurking here since last summer, thought I’d finally join!
