Hello!
Thank you so much for having this site! I am very excited to start off on the right foot with all of the information here! My name is Kim, I am a patriotic american, an herbalist, a gardener, a beekeeper, an artist, and many more things that I love to learn. I began making mead from honey and have made wine. I felt, as an herbalist this would be a natural progression into making my own alcohol for many reasons, including natural plant medicine making a I use alcohol for medicine extraction. I am excited to make this journey! Thanks again!

Re: Hello!
To add a little more, I am in NE MS, and if am starting with a 5 gallon still that does have a doubler(thumper) with it. Brand new, excited to use it! But after watching youtube, I ended up finding this site! So glad I did! I like research and like to know what I am doing first. If you are going to do something, do it right the first time!

Re: Hello!
Welcome!
+1 if that is your name in the RW!
I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.
That’s it. No more reading!
