Hi, I live in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia and am a 75 year old retiree who enjoys drinking spirits and making cocktails. I have recently become the owner of an Airstill (basic model) and enjoying my new hobby. The choice of the airstill was influenced heavily by our lack of available space having downsized to an apartment. My still is housed in the storage cage attached to our garage spaces and the space works well although I have to take equipment to the hose and drain when cleaning and preparing a wash. I have watched many of the YouTube videos for the airstill and for my first couple of washes followed the instructions and am happy with the results and especially the cost of the finished product, however, it looks like there is much to learn and to experiment with so I have joined this forum to increase my understanding.
