Hello all! Iβm brand new to distilling. I have done just under 20 sugar washes, with fair success. I am on my first UJSM and have never done an all grain mash. This site looks like a gold mine to help me with those two projects.
I am running a 35L digiboil with power controller, as a pot still, with an Alembic dome, soldered to 1 inch copper with a 4 foot column and a 2 foot foot Lyne arm running to a 24β Liebig condenser.
I have an obsession with bourbon and really any whiskey containing corn. I am very excited to read and listen to everything this forum has to offer!
Good evening from the south!

Welcome to HD man. The Tried and True has plenty of great recipes. The All Bran is a great one. As well as Shady Sugar Shine. Enjoy the journey.

Welcome! Sounds like you are on your way. Be safe and have fun. Most of us start with sugar wash recipes from the Tried and True section, and then many try more difficult techniques. You'll find everything you need here, including some great forum members who will help you develop your obsession.

Thank you folks!
Iβm excited to dig into the tried and true recipes this weekend. Wineoβs Sugar wash has been my favorite so far. Excellent results.
I think Iβm going to try Birdwatchers next.

If only the best birds sang, the woods would be silent.
