Hi I am Cruiserjim
I currently live in Utah, retired military. I enjoy Hunting, Fishing, Harley's, Guns, Beer, RZR's and Camping.
I've been brewing beer for about 15 years and decided to try my hand at making something a little stronger.
I started making my pot tonight from an old Sankey keg (15.5 gal) I had laying around. I cut the 2" connector off and welded in an 8" ferrule to make cleaning easier. Also added a 3/4" drain on the side to lighten the load when needed. Then made a 2" x 36" column and ordered the 8" triclamp, reducer and gasket. Plan to cook with propane for now cuz all of my beer stuff is setup for it already. Still trying to learn all the different nomenclature so I don't get flamed...I will be looking for a good whiskey receipt soon.
