It’s a great hobby, and this is a great place to learn the art and science of it. No doubt your brewing background will help a lot, especially with AG mashes.

Welcome. Your learning curve will be shortened since you already know what a yeast lag phase is and what beta amylase does, not to mention some of the differences between Chico strain and bread yeast. I have had beers from over 500 breweries in the US and Canada. Hope yours was one of them.
