Not sure if this is the correct area for this, but on an overnight trip with the wife I found a couple of books that look pretty interesting so I picked them up, and both secondhand, so cheap!

I own and read the second one a few times over, and still go back to it.
It's mostly about the business side of things, but really interesting. Look out for the bit where it talks about the economics of making gin vs. whiskey.

I will look out for that thanks Tommy, I'm already deep into the Rum book and it's got lots of really detailed history of Rum up front, very well researched.
